Last summer my mum come to visit us one week in August and she came with a great recommendation from her French yoga teacher living in Barcelona: We should visit the Saut du Doubs, a 27-meter-high waterfall on the Doubs river. She use to live in the region and her taunt was, in fact, the owner of one of the multiple tourist boat company to go to the waterfall. We never had heard before of that spot in the Planet so we decided to go and it really worth the visit.

The Doubs river is the Swiss-French natural border, in between the Franché-Comté region in France and Neauchatel provine in Switzerland. To get to the waterfall, there are touristic boats that sails calmly through the river from Villers-le-Lac (France). The river journey to the waterfall is an authentic natural treasure, and it really worth the visit.

Nothing else to say, just a few picture of this calm, natural area in the Planet 🙂
